#TheStrokeZone With all my heart thank you Sharon Stone

Sharon by some miracle you actually read this, My name is Aaron and here's my story

I survived a brain aneurysm and a major stroke two weeks later. September 17th 2010. Here's my video 2 months after. As you know, strikes as fast as lightning strikes.
I am six years post stroke and like you, is the best thing that has happened to me. But don't tell my wife Rebecca that she's suffered a lot.

I just wanted to say thank you sister for making
THE BEST raising stroke awareness commercial I've ever seen! Use it all the time on my Raising Stroke Awareness Page. It's my favorite!
Positive energy your way,

#TheStrokeZone An extremely frustrating thing about being brain damaged!

Hi peeps!
I need to vent a frustration.

Being brain damaged is like looking at your own words an actions from the 3rd person.

Yesterday I said some things to a friend I deeply regret! In fact I can't believe I even said them! Totally insensitive! GRRRR!

The brain damage convinced me at the time I was 100% right. When I couldn't have been more wrong!

What really hurts is when you realize just how wrong you were, sincerely apologize and explain it was your brain damage and people tell you you're using your stroke as an excuse!

Thanks for letting me vent peeps!

Stay awesome!

#TheStrokeZone Aaron seeks balance in life

My beloved survivors,

I need to find balance in my life. I love helping you so much and driven by such an intense divine passion, I have worked 10+ hours a day seven days a week for years. Such a powerful passion, hours of work seems like minutes and years of work feels like weeks.

I find I have been working so much I have not been working on my physical recovery. So in attempt to find balance I will be setting up working hours and online times and setting aside an hour a day for physical exercise.

So my new work and online schedule will be: (starting next week)

Monday through Friday 4:30am to 12:00 noon 1:00pm to 4:00pm PST
Saturday and Sunday off. (Early riser)

Stay awesome survivors!

The survey should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete. You may follow this link in order to access the survey:

After you complete the survey, please consider passing the link or this email along to other people who have had a stroke and may have received occupational therapy services.

#TheStrokeZone W.A.M. What's on Aaron's Mind 12/13/16

I just wrote this to a stroke survivor sister looking for happiness in friends.

Correct or not?

If you seek true happiness and joy in life it can only be found inside each individual person not friends.

There's a young man named Michael Brester-Smith. Who over the years has become like an adopted son to me. (My nickname for him is LT. Little Thug) or Mikey. I don't really see LT anymore since he moved away.

Day before yesterday the doorbell rings and to my awesome surprise it was LT!
I rounded LT up from his step mom and step brother (my wife Rebecca and son Ryan) and brought him into my office.

I began, very passionately to tell LT all we're doing with the Podcast. LT mentions he has a Blue Yeti Mic.
Now anyone who knows Podcasting knows just how amazing the Blue Yeti Mic is!

Quietly Mikey notices I totally light up over his Blue Yeti Mic.

The next day, today, the doorbell rings and it's LT holding a Blue Yeti Mic box.

Then I couldn't believe my ears.
LT says "I would like to give this Blue Yeti to you to help your cause and what you're doing". I immediately began to cry. Mikey says he's had it but never used it. (Destiny's beautiful divine hand at work in my life once again).

What I call naturally supernatural.

With every fiber of who I am, Thank you Mikey!

Proud of you son.

Ps. peeps!
All future recordings will be on the amazing Blue Yeti Microphone!

Your step dad Aaron.
